winter is back

You offend all my sensibilities

Wind hurts exposed bare skin

Crashes against my back

Me into a breathless depression

And lonely tree limbs rattle

Temporary pristine snowfalls

To a dirty grey and hardened slush

The build-up of society’s debris

Imagery temporarily hides your brutality

Buffalo, USA got 6 feet…SIX FEET …of snow in a 48 hr period… think about that for a minute…what it means for wildlife, for migratory birds, for hockey players who can’t get to the is perfect for sitting in front of a fire…inside.
