unloved she

There is a girl I used to know who wrote here

With magical words matching my souls whisper

Her voice silenced by maudlin diatribes and threats

I resent the removal of her exposed emotions

I abhor the fact I can’t visit her life electronically

Scattered brilliant sentences torn from her hands

And tossed carelessly into the grey stormy skies

To never be heard from again and I mourn her

I have had this happen so many times. It’s one of the dangers of getting to know someone online. They disappear into the ether, never to be heard from again, swallowed up by their lives.

she had to turn away from a nasty situation and could not risk writing and be exposed. i think about her and i miss her…wonder about her life and wonder about her heart.
